Evidence and standards
A number without a source is a guess. Our design goal is that every Āyuṣya parameter links to a paper, standard or test, with a confidence level. Coverage is still being built.
What is validated today
Nothing is claimed as validated for customer predictions yet. Screens use sample data built on demo priors. We will publish validation results as they are completed, with the data and the method.
How evidence is tagged
| Tag | Meaning |
|---|---|
| [E] | Experimental: measured in a test with a traceable report. |
| [S] | Standard: taken from a published standard. |
| [L] | Literature: taken from a peer-reviewed paper or public report. |
| [P] | Prior: a modelling assumption, shown as such until replaced by data. |
| [V] | Validated: checked against held-out data. None yet. |
Standards we work with
| Standard | What it covers | How Āyuṣya uses it |
|---|---|---|
| IEC 61215-1:2021 | Design qualification and type approval of terrestrial PV modules. IEC states that results are not a quantitative prediction of lifetime. | Pass lines on charts (for example the 5% “Gate No. 2” line) and test names. |
| IEC TS 63209-1:2021 | Extended-stress testing to compare longer-term reliability of modules and bills of materials (supplements IEC 61215). | Longer stress sequences in the risk model. |
| IEC TS 62915 | Retesting after a change in module design or materials (referenced by IEC 61215-1). | The “change to retest” matrix on the BOM risk card. |
| IS 14286 (BIS) | Indian standard for design qualification and type approval of crystalline-silicon PV modules; BIS registration against it is compulsory under the Solar PV Goods Order. | Context for Indian buyers and manufacturers. |
| JCGM 100:2008 (GUM) | Evaluation and combination of measurement uncertainty. | Combining independent uncertainty components for P50 and P90. |
Standards are cited for what they say; Āyuṣya is not a certification body and its outputs are not certificates.
